A small batch, potsill brandy from Boplaas produced from a single harvest in 2005. Matured for 17 years in French oak barriques and finished in tawny port barrels. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Aromas of this remarkable 17yo brandy evoke a soothing pool that brims with notes of caramel fudge, ripe apricots and raisins.
Palate: On the palate, a full show of sundried fruit is joined by the creaminess and spice of Cape Malay pudding. Think cinnamon, cardamom, coconut and a touch of rose water.
Finish: Long finish of apricot, peaches and tawny port.
